I bridge the gap between cognitive neuroscience and functional restoration, providing individualized cognitive rehabilitative care for neuro-cognitive dysfunctions resulting from conditions such as post-stroke cognitive impairments, dementia, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and, age-related cognitive decline. Collaboratively, we formulate a cognitive rehabilitation program (CRP) that targets the key cognitive domains of complex attention, executive function, learning and memory, language, perceptual-motor control, and social cognition. Capitalizing on the neuronal concepts of neuroplasticity and neurogenesis, we formulate targeted interventions to improve cognitive flexibility, functioning, and overall quality of life.
In the domain of learning and academic fluidity, I utilize a collaborative clinical framework for developing individualized psycho-educational interventions for students and life-long learners with varied types of intelligences and multimodal learning styles to activate intellectual strengths and academic potential. Learning interventions are student-centered with a focus on differentiated instruction which highlights student readiness and taking ownership of one's unique learning processes. I further specialize in learning-based profiles such as dyslexia (reading), dysgraphia (writing), and dyscalculia (mathematics) while providing specialized psychoeducational support for information-processing disorders such as auditory processing disorder, language processing disorder, von-verbal learning disability, and visual perceptual/visual motor deficit.
